Unfortunately, this thing was dropped off to me while i was at work so i had no idea of it's condition, i just knew what it was going to be. Apparently, there's a problem and it's the SH17 error code, i got the moment i turned on the ignition. Haven't owned Yamaha before so i don't know what this means or how to fix it if that's even possible. Does anyone have an idea what this is and what should i do with it?

That code points to a clutch actuator issue. Check the connectors for damage or lose pins and make sure the actuator isn't stuck.

usually points to a shift system fault, could be the servo motor, wiring, or even the ECU acting up. yamaha's stuff can be particular about voltage too, so check the battery first, make sure it's in good condition

Dropped off while you're at work? That's off. Could have rescheduled so you could check. It's such a hassle to bring it back and forth to the dealer.

SH17 on Yamaha usually relates to the knock sensor. but you just got it? well, you need to contact the person or place you got it from immediately about this SH17 error.
A knock sensor issue can affect engine performance and potentially cause damage if not addressed

No way. Did you think about putting off the delivery? I think there are some couriers that need the presence of the actual person who ordered or something. This is pretty weird to me. Get it back immediately!
