Where to find odd size springs for Yamaha YXZ1000R

my youngest son just put this HCR long travel kit on his Yamaha YXZ1000R, and now he's totally kicking himself for not just buying the King shocks when he bought the kit.

He ordered some 3" Eibach ID springs, but they're not clearing the crossover nuts on his fox X2, and they won't even fit over the top and bottom buckets.

He thought the factory springs were 3" ID, but turns out, after measuring, they're actually 3 and 1/4 inch ID.

He's checked everywhere, and he can't find that size listed on any spring manufacturer websites.

He's trying to get this thing back out on the trail, does anyone here know where to find springs that'll actually fit?

It seems like there's been a classic mix-up with the ID, Fox X2 shocks actually require 3.25" ID springs, not the 3" ones. Unfortunately, those smaller Eibach springs won't fit over the crossover nuts or buckets.

By the way, does your son have an idea of what spring rate he's looking for? Is he aiming for a softer ride, or does he prefer something stiffer for more aggressive trails? Also, is he planning to stick with the Fox shocks, or is he open to other options?

kinda frustrating, most aftermarket stuff is standard 3", your best bet will be to check with Eibach directly or call Zbroz or Shock Therapy, they've dealt with this setup before and sometimes they could have the right springs even if they're not listed online
