you can adjust preload, rebound and compression. for more adjustability, check out fox, king or elka aftermarket options..

Yep, you can usually tweak preload and rebound a bit on stock setups. If you want more range or better feel, aftermarket like Fox or Elka is the way to go. What is your ride style like?

I remember tweaking my stock suspension just enough for weekend trail rides, but once I tried a buddy's setup with aftermarket Elkas, it was night and day. Depends how hard you ride, but there's definitely more out there if you're chasing comfort or control.
