Installing Gibson exhaust on my 2017 YXZ1000R SS SE

My girlfriend just surprised me with a sweet Gibson exhaust and I'm really pumped! When I went to install it, I realized I got dual-rate springs and they're completely in the way. Seriously, it's not even close to fitting. Cutting the exhaust is definitely not my first option. So if anyone here knows another way for me to get it on, please send me your ideas! I don't want her gift to go to waste!

Congrats on the sweet gift, your girlfriend's got great taste! I ran into the same issue on my '17 SS with a Gibson setup and dual rate springs hogging the space. I ended up clocking the muffler a few degrees and fabbing a low profile bracket to sneak it past the spring without cutting anything. What spring brand are you running and are your arms stock or aftermarket?

I saw something somewhere, I dont know if you'd be willing to try it out @EchoOn5, how about loosen or slightly rotate the springs or lower mounts just enough to clear the pipe, you could also look into adjustable hangers or offset brackets to reroute the exhaust a bit without cutting

If it's that tight, you might need to swap or reposition the springs, cutting the exhaust should be the absolute last resort. Suspension mods often clash with aftermarket exhausts, and in this case, the springs and not the pipe might need changing.
