Best roof options for rainy rides

I've got a 2018 Yamaha YXZ1000R and lately, the weather's been super unpredictable where I am, lots of rain and wind and the soft top isn't cutting it anymore. I'm thinking of switching to a hard roof setup but not sure which one holds up best in wet conditions without rattling or leaking.

Any suggestions for roof options that work well in rainy weather? Thanks!

i also had to update my roof and ended up getting yamaha's oem hard plastic roof. it's solid and it bolts rights up to the stock cage. i havent had any issues with rattling or any leaks so far!! i've also heard good things about aluminum roof from tusk and utv inc. i almost bought one from those but i thought going oem is a lot safer and more practical for my case!!

For a tough roof on your YXZ, SuperATV and Pro Armor are great options. Both keep out the rain and cut down on noise. SuperATV costs a bit more, but it has better weather seals and stronger hardware, so it lasts longer.

Haven't given this a thought before, but now that I read this thread it got me thinking. Maybe there's a DIY option as well, like a tarp or something?

Hey @giantpin3con3, the OEM Yamaha hard roof is hard to beat if you want zero drama in the rain. SuperATV is also solid if you want thicker material and better sealing.
