Anyone done something like this? Is it worth it and if it is, which one to get? It's a 2017 YXZ1000R.

yeah, absolutely worth it! you can gain more horsepower & torque, remove speed and torque limiters, improve throttle response, and even optimize fueling and ignition timing. I got the WR Edition ECU Reflash, and it never disappointed

For which one to get, it depends on what you're aiming for, more power, better handling, or just aggressive look, for starters, I'd say check out reputable brands like Fox for suspension or HMF for exhausts, fitting and performance is top notch

Yh, ecu flashes can definitely boost performance on the 2017 YXZ1000R, especially for throttle response and top end power. Brands like SuperATV and EFI Live get good reviews.
It can be worth it on the YXZ1000R if you’re trying to smooth throttle response, improve drivability or match intake/exhaust mods. Most flashes mainly help with fueling and removing factory restrictions rather than huge power gains.
If the machine is otherwise stock, gains are usually modest, so it comes down to whether you want better response and tuning flexibility more than outright horsepower.
